The Davis Ramey Trio consists of guitar, string bass and reeds (saxophone and/or flute). The trio can be expanded with the addition of another horn or drums. Davis Ramey has been a leading Northern California jazz and classical guitarist, performing in widely diverse settings for the past twenty years. He has toured and recorded with jazz greats George Shearing and Earl "Fatha" Hines, and has performed in theater orchestras for the acclaimed musicals Les Miserables and Evita. The group brings all instruments and amplification necessary for performance and break music on CD.
